Our Team
Hi. My name is Ben Libby. I’m a freshman in college. During my first semester I experienced some challenges in getting appropriate clothes for different events. While I found solutions to my situation, I realized these struggles were limitations for others. Young men should be able to attend church in nice clothes, or have something to wear to a job interview, or school dance. I started collecting clothes to distribute to them. Clothing shouldn’t become a barrier to life experiences due to financial hardships.

I really liked this idea so I asked our Confirmation leader at St. Isidore Church in Danville, California if we could ask my peers to participate. I decided to collect clothes for both young men and women. I did a drive through my church. Everything collected was delivered to Wardrobe for Opportunity in Oakland and St. Vincent de Paul in Livermore.

Girls Soccer Worldwide/Pleasanton Rage
From my experience collecting clothes from my church, I enlisted help from my soccer team, Pleasanton Rage ECNL 06, to collect girl’s dresses and everyday clothes. We partnered with the non profit, Girls Soccer Worldwide to distribute the items to those in need. The event was so successful that our team is looking to do clothing drives with this organization twice a year.
